Silent Scream | 100 x 70 cm | Acrylic on Canvas | 2025

₺50,000.00Price

Silent Scream explores the paradox of modern life: as the world grows increasingly noisy, the human soul grows increasingly silent. Amidst cities overflowing with lights, sounds, and technology, the individual slowly dissolves into an invisible inner poverty. This poverty is invisible; it can only be felt. This painting attempts to capture that invisible collapse: a scream that echoes not with sound, but with silence.

Theme and Narrative

At the heart of the work lies the clash of two worlds. On one side is the restless, metallic loneliness of the city; on the other, the warm and simple naturalness of ancient community life. While modern societies suffocate in artificial bonds, primitive communities continue to breathe; they touch each other fearlessly, share the same space, and find joy in the purity of existence. This painting becomes a threshold standing between these two realities.

Inspiration

The work is inspired by the emotional tension between loneliness and belonging. It reflects the internal conflict of a world that is technologically advancing but emotionally regressing. The light shining on the horizon and the huts, symbols of communal living, represent a longing for the genuine human warmth that the modern world is increasingly forgetting.

The Creation Process

The work is created using layered acrylic techniques on professional-grade canvas. Numerous layers of glaze, textured brushstrokes, and contrasting color temperatures are used to create depth, atmosphere, and emotional weight. Each brushstroke reinforces a single idea: a world divided between the cold architecture of progress and the fragile warmth of humanity.

This work traces the emotional footprints of a civilization caught between illusion and reality, leaving the viewer grappling with the following question:
Are we truly progressing, or are we silently disappearing amidst the noise?
